At Swansea University, we proudly serve as the reference centre for the Physics and QA and Dosimetry modules, utilising the VERT system as a cornerstone of our radiotherapy education and training programs. This advanced virtual treatment room provides a dynamic platform for teaching radiotherapy physics, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and clinical practice.
Our long-standing integration of the virtual linear accelerator has enriched student learning, and we are proud to support other institutions training by offering our simulation workbooks worldwide, in partnership with Vertual. The VERT system’s 3D visualisation and simulation tools allow students to develop and refine their skills in a realistic, risk-free environment.
By simulating real-world clinical workflows, trainees gain confidence and competence, reducing the likelihood of errors and ultimately contributing to better patient care. The system’s intuitive interface ensures ease of use for learners at all levels, while its powerful simulation capabilities make it an invaluable resource for radiotherapy training and professional development.
